Never Alone

Updated: Apr 2, 2019

Psalm 145:18 “The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on Him in truth.”

I am often told that the world isn’t black and white but rather, has a lot of gray. Well, I am a black and white girl myself and love the scriptures for many reasons, with one of them being that there is very little gray. I love the absolutes that the Lord speaks in. The above scripture being just one example.

How consoling it is to know that ALL who call on the Lord in truth will find the Lord near to them. Not some, but all. I have personally found that one of the enemy’s favorite ploys is to make me feel alone in my trials. He wants me to isolate myself, both emotionally and even literally. Yet, the Bible has so much to say about fellowship with others and the fact we need to have an intimate relationship with our Lord.

Being alone is not something that God ever intended for us. Going all the way back to the Garden of Eden, the Lord said that it was not good for the first human to be alone. We need each other and we NEED the Lord! How comforting for us to know that all we have to do is call out to the Lord and He will be there.

When under attack, remember this truth, cling to it and find comfort in the assurance that we are never alone. Whatever the circumstances, call out to God and know that He will be found!
