"The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?" Psalm 27:1 New King James Version
We have all heard the Psalmist David express fear and doubt as well as confidence and faith in the Lord. I find comfort in this because I know that I have my days of doubt and then other days of strong faith. But to increase the days of faith, it is verses with truths like the above that we need to focus on. The truth is that our “Daddy” is a Rock. He is our strength. He is our source of light and salvation. His hand is never too short to carry us through the storms of fear and pain. When feeling the fears of the flesh, let us cling to the truth of His Word and be assured of His love and care for us as David did.
